Hall Closet

This hall closet system is built of maple and installed at my son's house.  It is 96" high and 36" wide.  It fits at the end of the hallway.  It was inspired by my first hall closet, and a space for it was reserved when the house plans were drawn up.  It has three 18" deep drawers at the bottom, three pullout trays behind the double doors, and a storage bin area behind the vertically opening door at the top.  The drawers are made of white melamine dadoed and glued.  The face frames are solid maple and joined with mortise and tennon joinery.  The door frames and drawer fronts are solid maple.
